R&D collaborations

IDQ is partnered with many leading universities and research institutes worldwide, and remains at the forefront of technological development.

In partnership with these organisations, ID Quantique is working to improve the products and solutions offered to customers, bringing the quantum revolution to new areas on the forefront of technological development, such as IIoT and Aerospace.

The company is also actively involved in other research programs —national and international— such as Innosuisse (CH), Innovate UK, Eurostars (Europe) or IITP (KR).

ID Quantique also participates in Quantum Technology Flagship projects, part of the EU H2020 Future & Emerging Technologies (FET) program. The Quantum Technology Flagship is a long-term research and innovation initiatives of the European Community. IDQ recently announced its participation to OPENQKD for Open Quantum Key Distribution, the European 3-year project which will install test quantum communication infrastructures in several European countries. ID Quantique will provide the QKD systems for the use cases in different locations throughout Europe.
