Product Marketing Manager – Quantum Cybersecurity

Its Quantum-Safe (security) business unit develops and commercializes cryptographic cybersecurity solutions, designed to protect data today and for the long-term. The company was created in Geneva in 2001, initially operating as a small university spin-off. Since then, the company has grown strongly to cover new market verticals and geographies, selling its products worldwide. It now has 130 employees, Headquartered in Geneva Switzerland, with offices in Vienna Austria, Boston USA and Seoul in South Korea.

As a Product Marketing Manager, you will be supporting the development and growth of our business by leveraging your general marketing skillset to devise industry value propositions, as well as to create compelling narrative and content. In this Geneva-based or hybrid role, you will be responsible for establishing thought leadership around use-cases and cybersecurity strategies relevant for IDQ’s products and customers. Your regular market insights will support our product strategy, GTM models, customer ‘personas’, as well as the prioritization of initiatives.

 

Key responsibilities

  • Product Positioning and Messaging: Collaborate with product management, digital marketing and technical teams to translate product features into compelling stories and benefits.
  • Market Research and Analysis: Conduct thorough market research and analysis in collaboration with Product Management, with a focus on monitoring the competition and adjacent markets and devising competitive narrative.
  • Go-to-Market Strategy: Plan and execute new product launches and updates, working closely with communications, sales, product management, and other teams to ensure seamless execution of marketing initiatives.
  • Content Creation: Create high-quality marketing collateral, including brochures, presentations, whitepapers, case studies, blogs, and website content.
  • Sales Enablement: Identify gaps and needs and create sales content assets that effectively communicate product value propositions. Facilitate content training sessions with sales teams.
  • Customer Advocacy: Identify and nurture customer advocates who can provide testimonials, case studies, and references. Leverage these customers successes stories in marketing campaigns to build credibility.
  • Digital Marketing: Collaborate with the digital marketing team to execute online marketing campaigns, including social media, email marketing, and content syndication.
  • Events and Conferences: Assist, help plan, and represent the company and products at key industry events.

 

Required

  • 5+ years of marketing experience, ideally with highly technical software or hardware products.
  • Demonstrated experience in product marketing and Go To Market engagements in Enterprise sales, SaaS or PaaS models, ideally in cybersecurity domain.
  • Storytelling ability – turning highly technical product information into compelling, authoritative narratives for customer benefits.
  • Proven experience in building value propositions and communicating them effectively.
  • Excellent (English) written skills – copywriting should be in your DNA.
  • Ability to coordinate projects across functional teams, including product management, operations, and creative and legal teams.
  • Proven ability to deliver against both short-term tactical and long-term strategic priorities.
  • Experience in managing analyst relations as part of a marketing mix.
  • Excellent communication skills – the role requires aligning with marketing, sales, product, and technical teams.

 

Desirable

  • Product marketing experience in encryption, cybersecurity, or alternatively in software, hardware, or high-performance computing
  • Ability to speak the ‘CISO’ language
  • Bonus: Experience or an interest in Quantum-Safe, Quantum Communication, Quantum Computing, or Optical and IP Networks.
